How T.H.I.S. Corp (Teamwork Harmony Innovation Success) got started: As a master electrician and part owner of an electrical company in Charlevoix, Michigan, a good portion of my business consisted of installing light poles in commercial parking lots. I was often asked if I had a product that had the ability to "cover the ugly", referring to the concrete light pole bases. My customers were constantly looking for a reprieve from the relentless upkeep and maintenance of these bases. After engineering and testing many designs I created and patented the Poletector360™. The Poletector360™ is an inexpensive, innovative, and aesthetically pleasing maintenance free light pole base cover for all seasons.
Based in metro Detroit, auto dealerships became an instant and obvious fit. With parking lots being their sales floor, we found that dealerships were scraping and painting their light pole bases every 6 to 12 months. At an average of $30 per pole is was not difficult to create an alternative for them that made for a good return on investment. They were quickly sold on the fact they would no longer have to paint, saving them both time and money. In addition the Poletector360™ provides a protective barrier eliminating car door dings and bumper rubs another costly expense for the dealers. The Poletector360™ allows these dealerships the opportunity to give their lots an inexpensive, but remarkably improved "Face Lift" while protecting their inventory. The Poletector360™ is becoming the industry standard and you can now find them at banks, big box stores, shopping malls, schools, hospitals, airports, gas stations, parking garages, and virtually every other type of facility you can imagine!
Our customers have expressed an interest in using the Poletector360™ to build brand image and possibly as a vehicle to generate revenue. We listened and now offer corporate and customized logos and the P.A.S. system (Pin Advertising System). The P.A.S. system is a cyclical advertising medium that allows the customer to sell ad space on their Poletectors to a tenant or advertiser. These have become removable vinyl billboards that are transforming the way we view "Point of Purchase Advertising". We print and sell the advertisement; you just switch the ads and collect the revenue. We have since expanded our product line to include bollard covers. They are available in a variety of widths, lengths and attractive colors using the maximum UV protection available. Still Headquartered in metro Detroit, we have expanded by adding regional offices in Chicago and Philadelphia. Today a growing network of distributors offers the Poletector360™ in all states including Alaska and Hawaii. Distributors will also be available in Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
